Welcome to Go Pro Speakers, an advanced club for Toastmasters who are ‘serious’ about pursuing professional speaking and training.

About us: We are a group of dedicated Toastmasters working together in pursuit of the Toastmasters professional level Accredited Speaker designation (and moving into professional speaking and training) in our individual growth and quest for this achievement.

We meet monthly: (2nd Tuesday) (and 4th Tues)

Meetings: 6:30PM – 9:00PM - online via zoom - may close earlier if we don't need the full time.

Until further notice all meetings will be on line via zoom... check out FB page for links to zoom invite or get on our mailing lists

Two meetings a month... 1) Open meeting like normal, 2) Members only meeting so members can do longer presentations and get panel of judges

We are still accepting new member applications... auditions will normally conducted before the official meeting unless there is time during the regular meeting.

Meetings are organized for the second Tuesday of each month at the above location.

Toastmaster Conference

We will host a longer meeting to allow us to develop our skills and engage our members in the evolution of this new Advanced club. We seek to raise the bar for our membership level of presentation skills and hence, the use of the AS format for evaluations for new members.

Accredited Speakers Judges Guide and Ballot are being used for new member 'evaluations'. Click on links to download. These are the actual guidelines and ballots used for levels of the Toastmasters Accredited Speakers Program.

Meeting format: Go Pro Speakers will have a specific educational sessions covering aspects of the business in addition to working to hone our speaking skills. We will not have some of the smaller roles in order to maximize time for the above.

Dress Code: Business attire (guide – come dressed to present on stage)

Membership: Membership is open to ‘qualified’ Toastmasters who agree to abide by the Accredited Speakers Code of Conduct and Ethics as well as the standards of Toastmasters International® as set forth in its governing documents. Members must apply and may be asked to demonstrate their competency by presenting in front of a panel (made up of at least 3 GPS members) prior to consideration for membership. Evaluations will be done using the form and guidelines for the Accredited Speakers Program as a guide. Additional membership criteria may be established as we move forward following our charter process. New members must be competent communicators. As with other Toastmasters clubs, new members must be voted into the club.
